RURAL AREAS ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY REPUBLICAN’S GRAHAM-CASSIDY HEALTH INSURANCE REFORM BILL

Rural counties have a higher percentage of elderly, single mothers, people with no high school degree and no car – i.e. a higher percentage of people living in poverty.

The Republican’s Graham-Cassidy plan would adversely affect health care access for people living in these rural counties, primarily the elderly, young, disabled and  poorer Americans.

Under “Research”, the Headwaters Economics site has an interactive map of these counties.
